For a limited run at Suncoast the Madame proudly brings El Milagro (“the miracle” in Spanish) to the Zulu Kingdom. The brand new show and cast will enthral audiences with fascinating acts from around the world leaving them with a most memorable dinner theatre experience.
Mike Dowsley, executive director, Suncoast, said: “Madame Zingara has set a standard of excellence that few can emulate. Upon entering the antique mirror tent you are immediately transported to a world of fantasy leaving behind any contact with the real world.”

“Thereafter waiters and waitresses clad as interesting fairy tale characters set the tone for the evening as they take you through the night’s proceedings whilst serving a most sumptuous four-course dinner.”

“Suncoast is proud to be associated with such an abundance of talent and a widely acclaimed troupe with many years of experience to their credit. This is a show that you cannot attend only once and we are convinced that audiences will return home feeling indulged and eager to return for another evening of fun and world-class entertainment.”

The impressive programme line-up features highly acclaimed performers from all over the globe from Mongolia and the Ukraine to Canada and also showcases local talent.

Audiences can look forward to some thrilling sequences such as the traditional art of chair stacking perfectly executed by an award-winning husband and wife duo; a triple strength act; aerial artists performing three acts in the form of a sensual bath act, a scarf act and a double chandelier act; a display of the Mongolian art form; a rope skipping act; a dramatic solo artist, and last but not least, Stella who dons many fairy tale guises.

Madame Zingara offers guests a luxurious red carpet treatment and is housed in one of the last remaining mirror tents in the world. Fondly known as Victoria, this magnificent twenty five metre velvet big top has toured the globe for the last 80 years. Coming from a long family tradition, Victoria is characterised by beautiful tents of stained glass, velvet drapes and warm wood panelling characteristic of an era ruled by gypsies, magic and cirque.

Amidst the crowd of familiar faces at the opening night of Madame Zingara at Suncoast was popular South African personality and Durban-based actress, Lisa Bobbert, who said: “After attending the show two years ago I knew I had to come back for more. I’m in the business of comedy and entertainment and I’m sure audiences will concur that the cast and crew of Madame Zingara were outstanding.”

“The success of an artist is determined by the ability to captivate audiences and I was mesmerised from the moment I walked into the Theatre of Dreams where everything just sparkled. Overall I was amazed by the sheer enthusiasm of the crowd who put effort into dressing appropriately for the occasion to create a dinner theatre experience unlike anything I have ever experienced before.”

Madame Zingara runs nightly at Suncoast from Tuesdays to Saturdays and ticket prices range from R410 to R495 per person. Bookings may be confirmed with Madame Zingara only on 0861 623 263 or visit www.suncoastcasino.co.za for more information.
