Adrenalin junkie and motor-mouth Smyth hosts the first dinner party fraught with over-cooked fish, malva pudding mayhem and a boy called Horse, aka Reeves. As Reeves reveals
his culinary nous by calling mash potato ‘mielie pap’, and Nyoka struggles to maintain an unlikely illusion, host Smyth is only too happy to have two female dishes for company.

It’s ad exec Goodall’s turn to host dinner party number two, and she quickly reveals lashings of jelly shooters, untouched starters, and a simmering tension between Nyoka and Smyth. The real question on everyone’s lips is: what is a crostini? And whose hair is in the dessert?

Night three is Reeves’s time to shine, and he’s at such a gallop the whispered comments go unnoticed. One contestant even loses the power of speech, resorting to an, ‘eek’.

It’s the final night, and host Nyoka must face up to the karmic fact that what goes around, comes around. Underwhelming fish cakes to start are followed by quails whose insides are
redder than a communist. They love the wine, but is the dining fine?
