Lokshin Bioskop is pushing the envelope of possibility in South African films by extending the running time of our movies from 60 to 90 minutes. This new slate of films, produced by some of the most talented directors and scriptwriters in South Africa, offers viewers the audio-visual and technical quality that they are accustomed to enjoying at the cinema in the comfort of their own homes. What’s even better is that these enhanced features will be narrating the extraordinary tales of typical South Africans.

Commissioning editor for Mzansi Magic, Brian Letlhabane, is excited about the launch of this new format of films and says, “We are proud of our new slate of 90min Lokshin Bioskop movies for their impressive production values, inspiring storylines and memorable characters. The improved quality of these movies represent our intention to help grow the South African film industry and provide our viewers with good quality local content.”
