seventeen magazine’s digital department has teamed up with cosmetics giant Clinique to launch the Clinique Virtual Makeover project on seventeen.co.za.

This fun and interactive application, hosted on seventeen's website, allows teen girls to register their details, upload a picture of themselves and get a Clinique virtual makeover using the latest products.

seventeen.co.za dominates the online teen girl space as the highest trafficked youth site in South Africa, with an average 16 000 unique browsers each month, according to the Online Publishers Association. Digital Publisher Natalie Dixon says, “We’re pleased to have big clients like Clinique partnering with us creatively in the digital space as this is definitely where the youth are playing”.

seventeen digital also leads the way on the mobile front, with a subscriber base of 11 500 to the seventeen mobizine. This mobile version of the magazine was launched in November 2006 and is currently the most popular youth mobizine in the country.
