The SABC has been associated with the Crown Gospel Music Awards for the last seven years and this year the public service broadcaster is once again a media partner for ceremony.
Kaizer Kganyago, SABC spokesperson says; “We are encouraged by the continued growth of the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards. Gospel music represents one of the most popular genres across both SABC radio and television platforms especially for SABC1 and SABC2’s audiences. Therefore our association with the Crown Gospel Music Awards reflects this natural attraction.”
Founder and producer of the SABC Crown Gospel Awards Zanele Mbokazi says; “As the world gospel power house we are humbled by the growth of Crowns, hence the 2015 theme, ‘new levels’. We delight in seeing so many sub-genres growing, for example gospel hip hop, gospel maskandi, gospel poetry, gospel comedy and others. We look forward to an evening of fashion, praise and amazing collaborations. We encourage the gospel music loving public to get their tickets from Computicket and to also vote for their favourite songs and artists.”
