Following months of rehearsals, the top crews from the past four editions of the event will meet on Saturday, 21 November at Walter Sisulu Square for the final showdown.

Intense battles will be the order of the night as the dancers go through a series of eliminations that will eventually boil down to a face-off between the two hottest crews. Judges Lorna Maseko, Somizi Mhlongo, Lorcia Cooper and mentor judge Vouks will weigh in on each battle and with the help of the audience will ultimately crown the dopest crew.

Off the back of a great year having attended the Hip Hop International competition in the USA in August, 2014 winners, Freeze Frame are back more determined than ever to bring an unstoppable performance. “We are going back to the place where we won last year,” said Brandon Grobler, founder and crew member. “It is only fitting that we end it where it started for us.”

DJ Switch will hold it down on the decks. He will be joined on stage by a list of local artists including Stilo Magolide, Kat la Kat, Kid X, Thebe, Twins on Decks and more. Scoop Makhathini will play host for the night.

Tickets for the event are R100 at Computicket and R150 at the door.
