Anderson, a former Radio 2000 presenter/DJ will receive this award for his excellent contribution to the upliftment of the lives of children and people with disabilities.

“You are only limited, by the limitations in the minds of others,” Anderson says.

National Orders are the highest awards that our country bestows on its citizens and eminent foreign nationals who have contributed towards the advancement of democracy and who have made a significant impact on improving the lives of South Africans. 

The Order of the Baobab, awarded at the National Orders, recognises South African citizens who have contributed to community service, business and economy, science, medicine and technological innovation.
