World-renowned producer and socialite Dithapelo Mahlo of Eyez Promotions, has joined hands with The Department of Arts and Culture, Suzuki, Jozi Fm and Soweto TV to add another dimension to the festive season by staging the inaugural Soweto Music Festival

The line-up features top local and international artists and DJs. To mention a few - DJ Black Coffee, house super star Monique Bingham (USA), award-winning Ricky Rick, the legendary Spikiri and many more. The show will be taking place at Elkah Stadium on Saturday, 26 December from 11:00 until late. Cooler boxes are allowed at the venue. So come and be cool with the amazing music and vibe on Boxing Day and the Sunday after.

Mahlo says he has been working on the Soweto Music Festival for the past five years and he is elated it has become a reality this year. And this will be one of the permanent entertainment features on the entertainment calendar in South Africa, which is why you see big organisations like Suzuki and the Department of Culture coming on board.

Tickets are available from Computicket and Shoprite at R120 each, and to keep up with the festive spirit of giving, they will be giving you one free ticket when you buy two.
