The annual BBC Radio 1Xtra “Hot For” tip list, hosts predictions of the most promising, exciting and sought after artists that they feel will emerge over the next 12 months. The list has been one of the first to outline artists that have gone on to greater success such as the likes of Drake, Tinie Tempah, Emeli Sande, Sam Smith and Stormzy just to mention a few.

“This is unprecedented as AKA is the first African based artist to appear on the list during its 4-year run. Most artists on that list have had great careers and have gone on to be global phenomenas,” says Raphael Benza, director and co-founder of Vth Season.

“It’s a prestigious symbol of confidence in our work from one of the world's leading media players, and a great sign of things to come for the year ahead as the Vth Season team and AKA roll-out international growth master plans,” adds Benza.
