Tribeca and Flint & Tinder created a celebration of Brazilian beach style that highlighted Ipanema’s origins with a Brazilian-themed pool party at the Sandton Radisson Blu hotel.

More than 80 media and  celebrities attended the announcement, which trended on Twitter even though there were several other fashion events happening in the city on the same night.

“The Tribeca team created a media wave that was locally relevant while honouring the brand’s glamourous history, generating excitement about its future on the African continent,” says Donny Christoforakis, managing director at Intershu Distributors.

“The event attracted the attention of fashionistas everywhere, as Intershu reported a significant increase in sales enquiries following the event,” says Davina Malan, account director and team leader at Tribeca Public Relations. “Put simply, we achieved our client’s business objectives by gaining the attention of the people important to their business.”
