The crew, consisting of SAMA Award-winner, Kwesta; pro-skater, Jean-marc Johannes; ex-Springbok rugby player, Breyton Paulse; pioneering graffiti artist, Falko One; and innovators, Fixin’ Diaries are all set to take on a series of challenges that will celebrate their authentic way of living with heart, motivating their fans to do the same.

“Together, this crew embodies the very notion of living with heart, they’re challenging, spontaneous, authentic, and fun. Humans are creatures of habit, but the moment we do something a little out-of-the-box, a little out of character we, remember it. These are the moments the Red Heart Crew wants to create and encourage,” says Melanie Campbell, head of marketing: White Spirits & Rums at Pernod Ricard.

Johannes has been skating since he was 11 when he entered and won his first skateboard contest. Today, he’s part of the Global Top 100 Action Sport Athletes, one of the top three skaters in South Africa, and the only South African to win gold at the FISE World Championships. Jean-marc is set to break his own mould and try something for the very first time.

Falko One started writing his nickname on walls in 1994 and today he travels the world, mapping out murals that uplift and inspire rural communities from the Kalahari to India. For Falko One, living with heart is daring to just get out there and leave his mark wherever he goes.

Paulse is ready to build a rugby team because being part of the Red Heart Rum Crew means less is not more, more is more.

Van Roos represents Fixin’ Diaries, a collective of young entrepreneurs who put a spin on a modern day life by building and repairing custom-fixid bicycles and hosting weekly social rides through Gauteng. As creatives and innovator, Fixin’ Diaries will find someone who inspires them, collaborating with them to create something one-of-a-kind.

“It’s all about saying ‘let’s give it a bash’,” says Campbell. “The idea is not to be different but to do things differently. We salute anyone who dares to push their own limit and live with heart.”
