According to the channel, viewers will follow a group of young conservationists — and Akili, an AI computer represented as a large DNA helix — as they become Africa's protectors, working from a fun and high-tech base known as Sayari basecamp.
Team Sayari premieres on Saturday, 24 September and the new series will be airing each Saturday at 13:00. Each episode aims to provide viewers with:
- adventures
- investigative missions
- visitations to places across Africa
- meet-ups with interesting people
- knowledge-sharing about the continent's biodiversity, and
- the exploration of the need to become champions for conservation.
