Hamba Bamba Funda (HBF) is a Section 18A non-profit organisation dedicated to early childhood development from conception to two years.
The event was organised by ElevenTwentyTwo Events and held at Jozi Padel (33 Troupant Avenue, Magaliessig) on Sunday, 22 October. According to the collaborators, it surpassed all expectations, leaving participants and organisers alike filled with gratitude and joy.
"I have no words, only tears of joy! The event exceeded my expectations," says Monja Boonzaier, founding director of Hamba Bamba Funda.
According to HBF, the charity event aimed to raise funds for HBF's Mother and Baby initiative, providing crucial support to mothers and their babies (naught to two years) from underprivileged communities through weekly classes at their centre in Dobsonville, Soweto.
HBF says it believes in the pivotal importance of the first 1 000 days of a child's life, fostering their potential through movement, touch and play.
